New Dates Added To Tomoson.com

After a lot of feedback from bloggers we made some new improvements to Tomoson.com.  The biggest complaint was the lack of “To Do” dates.  When will a promoter approve people, ship, ect…  We listened and added the dates shown in the image below.  As these dates get hit people are notified via email so the blogger and promoter will know what’s going to happen next.

If you go to any promotion on Tomson.com you will see these new additions to the promotion profile page.

——-Dates Added ——

Bloggers Can Apply From: These are the dates bloggers will have the opportunity to apply for the product review.  At this time promoters will be gathering bloggers for preapproval or auto-approval.

Final Blogger Selection Date: If there is a preapproval stage this date is the day the promoter will select the final set of bloggers to be approved or denied.

Product Ship Date: Date the promoter will be shipping all products to the bloggers.

Review Verification Time: Shows how long a blogger will have to use and write a review on the product.

Thanks again to everyone providing feedback making Tomoson.com better, and as the great Tracy Morgan once said:

Live every week like it’s shark week

Thank you! It has made the review item easier to keep track of ,all the info up front!

This is helpful. But I’m still very confused about the process how bloggers are chosen. I’ve had conversations with Jeff before Tomoson about reviewing Smelly Washer and a Pepper Spray Key Chain. I have not received either, and now was just “denied” Smelly Washer. Then I was told I did not qualify for the digital keychain, but then later I did. I was sent one, but the site says it was never shipped. I’M SO CONFUSED!! And if there is now a time deadline, it is very hard for bloggers to plan for that when communication is not consistent.

That looks like it will be much more helpful. Thanks.

    Hey Maura,

the issues you had with the communication is exactly why we added these dates. We also had some bugs with approvals that were fixed which is why you were denied then approved again.

As for being preapproved and then denied is a feature promoters have been asking for. They want to gather all bloggers who are interested and then pick the ones with the stats that best fit their promotions. This is more manual for the promoters but it’s something they wanted.
