Tomoson Message Center Launched For Testing
33 Comments · Posted by Danf in Tomoson.com Features, Tomoson.com Feedback
We have recently finished our message center in Tomoson.com and want to hear what you guys think about it. Please watch the video below and let us know if there is anything we are missing or should fix.
HERE IS HOW YOU CAN TEST IT OUT (watch the video below first)
- Log into your tomoson.com account
- Go here and ask a question in the lower left corner: http://www.tomoson.com/dev/view-promotion/new_promotion_testing_message_center
- Within a few hours (DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS) someone in our team will respond to your question.
- After that you will get an email with the answer to your question and you can start to interact with the message center more.
And because we all know how funny movie quotes should close out any blog. Where did this classic line come from?
“I want to go somewhere, where the salmon instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano.”

It is easy to understand and simple. I will update when I get a reply to my question.

Looks great!!
Motherhood Moment · June 14, 2010 at 9:17 am
Very thorough video – almost too long, though.
Jennifer · June 14, 2010 at 9:22 am
Submitted question and will return when answered
Looks good on the video!
Gina · June 14, 2010 at 9:22 am
Very thorough! However, I agree with Motherhood Moment. Almost too much info. It’s very simple to use and doesn’t need that much of a tutorial.
Dumb and Dumber! Love that movie! LOL!
Kime' · June 14, 2010 at 9:32 am
I have to agree very thorough video but really is almost too long.
Ellie Pongratz · June 14, 2010 at 9:36 am
Great Info! Thanks
CJ · June 14, 2010 at 9:39 am
I think the demo is nicely done and to the point. I now know how to maneuver in the message area!
Jennifer · June 14, 2010 at 9:57 am
Great response time
I love how the message system works with the threaded responses and the option to only respond to one certain message. I am excited to see Tomoson in full swing
Zoe · June 14, 2010 at 9:58 am
Seems to work great
Ally · June 14, 2010 at 10:03 am
the video was okay but really too long.
Karen · June 14, 2010 at 10:15 am
I agree, the video is unnecessarily long. I’ll mention something else in the question I submit.
Rita A · June 14, 2010 at 10:18 am
Very Informative. I like the message center areas. Can’t wait to have live products.
Patty · June 14, 2010 at 10:22 am
I asked my question…heh
I will await my response. It was very easy.
thank you
Zipporah Sandler · June 14, 2010 at 10:23 am
I like the clarity of the video, although I do agree that you might want to cut it down by a couple of minutes.
Shanaka · June 14, 2010 at 10:52 am
That was easy. Asked my question at 11:50 =)
Kristi @ Frugally Thrifty · June 14, 2010 at 11:12 am
Asked my question and it was super simply.
Bing · June 14, 2010 at 12:13 pm
It’s pretty intuitive and easy to use. Will you consider incorporating into the FAQ section some of the Q&A’s we have during this testing period? I just submitted a question and look forward to your reply.
Nathalie Brault · June 14, 2010 at 12:22 pm
I have just sent a question and when I get the answer I will re comment with my satisfaction answer.
Maura · June 14, 2010 at 12:51 pm
I agree that the tutorial doesn’t need to be so detailed.
I just tried to submit a question (1:50pm eastern time) and the submit link was dead. I’ll try again later.
Love this site though and can’t wait for it to be up and fully running!!
Karen · June 14, 2010 at 1:02 pm
Asked a question, got a reply, and replied to the reply — easy-peasy.
Shanaka · June 14, 2010 at 1:25 pm
Done and done. Got a fast reply.
Maura · June 14, 2010 at 3:19 pm
I just tried again at 4:19pm and now I can’t even login.

That was easy and I can’t wait for pics of the next trip.
Kayla · June 14, 2010 at 7:13 pm
Oh wonderful! I’m excited to help
I’m off to ask a question!
Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma · June 14, 2010 at 11:49 pm
The video tutorial was very easy to follow. I agree with the others that it was too long and I felt that I got the basics down pretty easily from the first couple of minutes. On the other hand I completely get the need to be thorough, it helps eliminate questions from the select few that need the extra guidance.
Can’t wait for the official launch!
LB · June 15, 2010 at 10:16 am
Can’t login either, doesn’t recognize my e-mail Will try a different e-mail, but I used the one I was receiving updates to.
Maura · June 15, 2010 at 11:29 am
I logged in today no problem. Yesterday when I filled out my e-mail and pw, the submit button was dead. But today everything was great. I submitted a question and everything looks like its up and running smoothly.
I’m SO excited about this site!!
Stephanie J · June 16, 2010 at 8:43 am
looks great, I will have to think of a question as there have already been some great ones asked!
Jenny @ Freebie Spot · June 21, 2010 at 1:37 pm
I didn’t have any problems here! The message area seems to work great.
Gineen · June 26, 2010 at 10:26 pm
Just submitted my question, will wait for a response. The tute video was great in my opinion, very thorough. The actual message center – from what I’ve seen on the video looks great, but I will comment again after I get to interact with it more. From first glance though, I personally prefer to have the date of the message as the first column seen all the way to the left. That’s just a personal layout preference though and not a big deal.
Look forward to the launch!!
