Cumbor refrigerator water filter is designed specifically for GE products, and is tested and certified by NSF International's NSF/ANSI Standard 42 to reduce chlorine and reduce taste and odor effectively. The shell of the filter uses food grade and high temperature-resistant PP material, and the filter element adopts 100% coconut shell activated carbon rod imported from Southeast Asia, which has strong absorption capacity and can retain beneficial minerals in water. The filter cartridge should be replaced every six months or earlier if the flow of water to the dispenser or icemaker decreases. How to Replace the Filter? 1. Locate the filter in the refrigerator 2. Remove the old filter by gently rotating it 1/4 turn to the left. 3. Write the installation date on the new filter as a reminder of replacing the filter within 6 months. 4. Remove the sealing label from the top of the new filter. 5. Position the filter inside the filter holder and slowly rotate the filter clockwise until it stops and is locked into place. Do not over tighten. 6. Run water through the dispenser for 2.5 gallons(about 5 minutes) to prime the filter before use. Discard the purged water. 7.Reset water filter system.
