I thought the task would be simple, but In my endless internet searching, I ran into countless tacky DIY solves that were shotty solutions at best and came with the added bonus of making the living room look one step further away from that spread in Good Housekeeping. It turned out no amount of novelty grabbers and plywood 2x4s could solve the problem.I had no background in inventing and had to come up with an affordable everyday item that would fit across most furniture designs and could protect against dog toys, kids toys, treats, bottles, pacifiers, dirt, and dust being trapped under hard-to-reach areas.
