When the toggle switch is set to AUTO(in dim or dark conditions): 1. The wall lamp will light up automatically if human motion is detected a valid range and will go off if no human motion is detected in 50 seconds(+5). If the ambient light is sufficiently high the human motion sensor will shut off automatically for power saving purposes. 2. The continuous trigger sensing capability enables the wall lamp to remain on as long as human motion is always present, so the wall lamp will not experience a constant on-and-off condition. Even when the ambient light brightens amply all of a sudden, the wall lamp will not go off within 50 seconds unless no human motion is detected. Warnings and Precautions 1. The induction range of 3m is testing result obtained in a pitch-black environment. In not-so-dark conditions, the sensitivity in detecting human motion may decrease accordingly. 2. To get the optimal luminous efficacy, please use 3 AA alkaline batteries or large-capacity rechargeable batteries. 3. Sufficient care is recommended when choosing the installation location given the tack adhesion strength of the 3M tape included with the wall lamp. 4. Please avoid installing this wall lamp in close proximity to wet areas, air outlets of air conditioners, electric fans, humid locations such as kitchens and bathrooms. Or else, the motion sensor may exhibit unusual behavior or even deactivate such that the wall lamp will not light up and other problems might occur. 5. During wintry or hot summer periods, the human motion sensor may lose some of its elasticity and responsiveness. Yet, when ambient temper return to normal conditions(5℃-30℃)the motion sensor will restore to normal.
