The Stovtope Protectors easily catch splatters and spills. They can be wiped clean with soapy water after stove cools. You will not find here absence mention in customers reviews. The diameter designed for burner is 3.2'' by default (but can be adjusted to any size of burner by cutting with scissors). Cut the hole so edges are at least 1/2" to 1" from the flame when on highest setting. You can use a ruler to measure the dimensions of your burner pans against the flexible Stovtope Protectors to get those flawless edges, or adjust as you go with scissors while installing.
