I also like how it locks at any length, and this has become my everyday leash, and I use it even when going out in public and a short leash is required. I find that the handle is easy and comfortable to hold no matter how I'm using the leash. This item says made in Germany. It has solid construction and looks like I will get years of use out of it. I'm not into "cute" and the black color makes it feel like a professional and useful tool rather than a trendy gimmick. I recommend this leash highly."
