The ChildMinder SoftClip® is a CRS shoulder harness strap retainer device that maintains the CRS harness straps in the optimum position upon the child's shoulder in the event of a collision. The ChildMinder SoftClip is a lifesaving device, that is truly a must have if you have babies to children age 6 in a car safety seat! This savvy system should greatly reduce cases of children inadvertently left alone in vehicles, while fastened in their car seat. The ChildMinder System reminds drivers with an alarm 8 seconds after the parent or caregiver has moved more than 15 feet from the child in his/her safety seat. • The ChildMinder System performs a self-test upon each use to insure its proper functioning. • No removal of safety seat harness straps required for installation.
