Esky EP-R800-B1 is dog training system designed for medium or large breeds with large effective range. Three modes available with this system and different level corrections are available in each mode so you can train your dog progressively. We also advise to use low(level one) level shock on medium or large breed first. - The collar and remote will power off automatically to save battery power if no motion or movement is detected for approx. 1-2 minutes. A gentle motion or movement will activate the receiver and a one-second press on the menu button will wake the remote from sleep mode. Note: EP-R800 series can reach up to 1000m (3300ft) in totally interference-free environments. In normal conditions where inteference exists, the valid range can reach up to 800m. So, the 1000m range, as claimed in many other similar products, is, of course, justified as well, though from an ideal perspective.
